July 28: Wolf Pack Welcome

The Welcome Pack

The Welcome Pack is a weekly newsletter featuring important information and resources to help you prepare for your first year at Loyola.

We're excited to welcome you to campus! Your Loyola experience starts with Wolf Pack Welcome on August 13–16, 2026—a mandatory program to kick off the fall semester. You'll prepare for classes, meet other incoming students, take part in Loyola traditions, and more!

📲 Download the Guidebook app now to view the Wolf Pack Welcome 2026 schedule on your phone. In the app you can:

  • View your Krewe Leader's contact info
  • Get an up-to-date schedule
  • Find where your Krewe will meet
  • View a campus map
  • Receive real-time messages and updates

Events marked with an asterisk are required for students. You can also view a printable version of the schedule.

Parent Programming at Wolf Pack Welcome

Optional programming for parents and caregivers runs Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14. If they plan to attend, please complete our guest registration form by August 10, 2026, and look for "Parents & Caregivers" events marked with a gold dot in the Guidebook app.

Please note: the form is for parents/caregivers only and requires student information so we can connect them to your account.

New Student Convocation Live Stream

Can't attend in person? Parents and caregivers can tune into our New Student Convocation live stream on Thursday, August 13 at 3:45 p.m. CT on Loyola's YouTube Channel. A companion to Commencement four years later, this ceremony marks the launch of academic life at Loyola.

When and Where Do I Check In?

Report to the University Sports Complex (USC), fifth floor—same building as the Freret Street Garage—at 8:45 a.m. on August 13 for the opening session. On-campus staff will guide you and answer questions. Be sure to download the Guidebook app for your full schedule.

Where Can I Park?

Driving in? Visit the Maps and Directions site for details. Parking is free during Wolf Pack Welcome in both the West Road and Freret Street Garages, each with a first-floor unloading zone for your items.
