Health in body, mind, and spirit.
At Loyola, you will benefit from a holistic liberal arts education centered on our Jesuit values of critical thinking and care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Our accelerated BSN program provides the same quality education offered to on-ground undergraduate nursing students in a synchronous online modality to allow you to attend class from your home. This program is ideal for career changers and students with a non-nursing background interested in the healthcare industry.
Accelerated B.S.N. Program Requirements
The accelerated bachelor’s degree in nursing program is a 53-credit program completed over four successive semesters, including enrollment in the summer. This full-time accelerated program requires a significant time commitment from students. We do not recommend working full-time while enrolled in the ABSN program.
A bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement for entry into the ABSN program. Students will not be eligible to receive credit for individual courses in the previous bachelor’s degree, only the completed degree. In order to prepare for the program, students must show proof of successful completion of pre-nursing required coursework.
