Loyola University New Orleans Appoints New Vice President of University Advancement
July 11, 2024 – Loyola University New Orleans announced today the appointment of Stephanie Hotard as vice president of University Advancement, effective July 1, 2024.
Hotard, who joined the university’s advancement team in 2007 and served as the interim vice president since May, will continue to champion Loyola’s mission and secure support for its future in the permanent role.
“Stephanie has been instrumental to the growth and stability of Loyola University New Orleans over the past few years and her continued leadership in our advancement efforts will drive our mission forward,” said President Xavier Cole. “She is dedicated to Loyola’s future and its students and alumni and works tirelessly to make sure they are supported and positioned for success.”
Hotard is a double alumna who received her bachelor’s degree and master of business administration from Loyola. Prior to serving as the interim vice president, she was executive director of development and director of annual giving. She helped lead Loyola’s historic and record-breaking Faith in the Future campaign that culminated in 2019 and raised more than $100 million to fund programs, scholarships and faculty positions. She is currently spearheading the plans for a second comprehensive campaign that will allow the university to strengthen ties with external partners and identify, engage and cultivate current and future donors.
“At Loyola, we encourage our students to become who they are called to be and we instill in them the values of living for and with others and serving the greater good,” Hotard said. “I’m thrilled to give back to my community in this role and to help support the future of Loyola and everyone it serves.”
