Bio
Rebecca Schoen has joined Loyola as an Accessibility Coordinator in the Student Success Center. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of New Orleans. She later earned her Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Counseling, also from the University of New Orleans.
Before coming to Loyola, Rebecca has spent her career in Catholic schools in the greater New Orleans area. She worked as a classroom teacher and school counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Rebecca is a lifelong New Orleanian who loves to read, spend time outdoors, and travel. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding and jogging along Lake Pontchartrain with her family.
