Msgr. Kevin W. Irwin, S.T.D., will present "Creation on the Move: Ecological Migration in an Integral Ecology," examining how climate change and ecological degradation drive migration, and how Catholic social teaching calls us to respond. Msgr. Irwin is Dean Emeritus of the School of Theology and Religious Studies at The Catholic University of America. He is a priest for the archdiocese of New York. He is the author of twenty-three books including Ecology: Liturgy and Sacraments (Paulist Press). His latest, Eucharist: Event of Salvation will be published by Paulist Press Fall, 2026 and over one hundred book chapters and articles.
The 2026 Lecture Series, Walking with the Migrant: Jubilee, Justice, and Hope, features one-hour virtual lectures that explore the spiritual, scriptural, and ecological dimensions of migration through the lens of Catholic faith, highlighting it as both a lived human experience and a call to solidarity, justice, and hope in today’s world.
