The daily sessions run from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm on both days. The emphasis on self-care is too often sidelined as religious educators and administrators dutifully prioritize the well-being of their students and colleagues. Though noble in intent, consistently placing care for others before care for oneself can indirectly exacerbate mental health struggles. As the saying goes, we cannot pour from an empty cup. This year's Summer Institute offers participants an opportunity to explore the intersection of faith and mental health and to learn effective strategies for cultivating personal resilience while also supporting students' emotional and spiritual growth.  As a result of attending the Summer Institute, you will consider how self care helps us to serve God more fully better understand the relationship between service and self-care identify immediate changes you can make to foster your own and others' well-being be empowered to serve your communities with wisdom and joy Presenter Dr. Young Hoang is the President of the National Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement (VEYM) in the U.S. In this role, Dr. Hoang is charged with the responsibility of collaborating with leaders across the country in planning and directing programs to assist 25,000+ youth members at over 140 chapters/parishes to be good Christians and contributing members to society. Professionally, Dr. Hoang is the director and supervisory psychologist for the Office of Employee Consultation Services at the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C.  Cost and Registration $100 until May 10 •  $125 after May 10 The cost of the Summer Institute includes breakfast and lunch both days plus free parking.  Reserve your spot today!
