Dr. Emily Jendzejec will explore the subject "Young Adult Involvement in a Synodal Church."  Dr. Jendzejec is an Assistant Professor of Pastoral Studies in the Loyola Institute for Ministry at Loyola University New Orleans. She specializes in the intersection of Catholic theology, religious education, and young adult ministry.   LIM alumna Marysa Alvarez, M.R.E., will offer a brief response to the lecture. Marysa  is passionate about young adult ministry and the need for engaging with young adults to walk with them through their unique challenges, joys, and spiritual seeking.     Michelle Collins, PhD, CNM, RNC-EFM, FACNM, FAAN, FNAP, Dean of the College of Nursing and Health and professor in the School of Nursing, will offer a welcome to begin the lecture and Dr. Jendzejec's presentation.   The evening will end with a brief question and answer period.  This lecture is free and open to the public.
