Housing Accommodations

Loyola honors the dignity of each student by offering appropriate accommodations for students with documented and approved disabilities. See Requests for Housing Accommodations to learn more.

Planning to Live at Home?

Loyola requires every student to live on campus for your first two academic years, or until attaining junior standing. To apply for an exemption, you must submit the housing exemption application in The Housing Director. With your application, you must also upload additional documentation verifying your exemption eligibility.

Commuter students have many opportunities to get immersed in our campus experience too!

  • You’ll be assigned a Commuter Assistant (CA), a current student who can help you adjust to your new routine as a commuter. They’ll reach out before the start of the semester!
  • Explore commuter resources on our website, including information about the Commuter Student Association and other ways to get involved.
  • Check out Loyola's official off-campus housing website for support to find a roommate or place to live off campus.
