E. Letitia Beard

Dr. Beard's research is focused on cardiovascular physiology, especially concerning blood fluidity and integrity. Recently, she has been studying the effect of dietary supplements on fatty acid composition in animal tissues that promote or alleviate atherogenesis. She is chairman of the Loyola Health Professions Advisory Board (HPAB), which assists students in applying to medical, dental, veterinary, and other health professional schools.
