Twomey's Credo "...To create a Society in which the dignity of the human person, in whomsoever found, shall be acknowledged, respected and protected"
Father Louis J. Twomey S.J. — 1905-1969

The Twomey Center for Peace Through Justice, Loyola University New Orleans, seeks to shape social justice consciousness through education, and to take action on critical social problems confronting society. The Twomey Center acts as a catalyst for research and action on critical issues of workers' rights, racism, poverty and justice. Our mission is achieved through action, reflection and dialogue generating community partnerships such as Bread for the World, Blueprint for Social Justice, the ECOnomics Institute, Resolving Conflict Creatively Program (RCCP) and the Twomey Training Center.
