Students Recognize Art Born From the Street Corners of Harlem, NY

The theme, “Celebrating the Renaissance of Black Artistry,” highlights the Harlem Renaissance, which was a pivotal time in Black History. During this time, Harlem, New York, became a dynamic epicenter for black artistry, as it garnered black dancers, singers, philosophers, writers, and scholars alike.
