Capstone: Advertising and Public Relations Campaigns

The focal point of this course is a semester-long service learning project in which students work on behalf of a nonprofit partner agency selected in advance through a competitive application process

Learning objective: In this culminating course, students will create and execute a complete public relations and advertising campaign on behalf of a real client. Students will apply the skills and theories they have learned throughout their previous coursework in the School of Mass Communication while also building capacity within an organization which is contributing to positive social change in our community.
