Recycling At Loyola University

Loyola University New Orleans has kicked off a New Campus-Wide Recycling Program! Many departments and organizations all over campus are pitching in to ensure that the program continues to be a success. As part of the nearly 40 convenient recycling locations throughout both of the Loyola University Campuses, Office Paper Recycling bins are placed in each of the Residence Hall Lobbies.

In the Office Paper Recycling Bins, distributed throughout campus, you can recycle:
- White or colored office paper
- Junk mail
- Manila folders
- Envelopes with or without plastic windows

In the Special Magazine and Newspaper Recycling Dumpster ONLY, located North of the West Road Garage, on the South side of Biever Hall, you can recycle:
- Magazines
- Newspaper
- Paper Bags

The special Magazine and Newspaper Recycling Dumpster is the only location where the above can be recycled. It is strongly suggested that students do not mix newspaper and magazine recyclables with plain Office Paper recyclables around campus. We do not currently have the resources to sort recyclables, so failing to do so may severely hinder the success of the program. Thank you for your cooperation.
