Thank you for your interest in living at Loyola. Please read the following to ensure your housing application is handled correctly.
Read the Contract Terms and Download a Housing Contract
(Please
note that the Residence Hall Contract is in PDF format. If you do not
have a PDF viewer you may download Adobe Acrobat by clicking on the
button to the right.)
Click to read the Contract Terms, then download and complete the Residence Hall Contract.
**Single rooms and other housing accommodations must be requested in advance. See below for information how to complete and submit a Housing Accommodation Packet. You may submit this information separately from your Residence Hall Contract, but it should be received by the Director of Health & Counseling Services early enough that your request can be reviewed by the appropriate personnel and a recommendation forwarded to the Department of Residential Life.
Newly Admitted Students
If you are a newly admitted undergraduate student (i.e. you have not yet attended classes) you should contact the Office of Admissions to apply for housing. Loyola students are required to live on campus through their Sophomore year.

If you are a newly admitted graduate or law student, you may apply for housing using the regular Residence Hall Contract.
Current and Returning Students
Current resident students in the Spring Term should participate in Room Draw to ensure top priority in selecting a room for the following Fall. Please review the information on the Room Draw page carefully and submit all required documents by the stated deadlines. Keep in mind that all Loyola Freshmen and Sophomores are required to live on campus.
Current students, students who are returning from overseas, or other returning students who do not need to be re-admitted to the University may complete a Housing Contract and mail or fax it to the Office of Residential Life at any time, making sure to note the term for which housing is being requested. It is preferable, however, that returning students who are able apply apply for housing through the annual Room Draw process.
Housing Accommodation Requests & Single Rooms
Loyola is committed to honoring the dignity of each residential student. Loyola will provide appropriate and reasonable housing accommodations that will help the student to be successful in their time with us. If you would like to request a specific accommodation, please complete the Housing Accommodation Packet (including documentation from a licensed health care provider) and submit to the Director of Counseling and Health Services.
PLEASE NOTE: Loyola's residence halls are very full and single rooms are not generally available. We are committed to working with you to build a plan for success that includes a roommate in the event that single accommodations are not available.
Housing for Non-Loyola Students & Interns
Interns who will be in New Orleans for a summer work/study experience may also live in the residence halls during the regular summer term. Please complete the summer Housing Contract. Non-Loyola students must submit payment in advance. If you would like a bill or invoice, please contact our office in advance, we are happy to produce one for you.
