Late Checkout and Interim Housing Requests
Late Checkouts
Any student who checks out of the Residence Halls after the published deadline (usually marked by the start of the Graduation Ceremony) will be doing so late. Those who do not have an approved Late Checkout Request will be subject to an Improper Checkout and fee, which ranges from $100 to $500. This Improper Checkout Fee is in addition to the $25 per day housing fee assessed for each additional day on campus.
To avoid an Improper Checkout, students must complete the form below AND their Late Checkout Request must be accepted.
Interim Housing
The Department of Residential Life offers Interim Housing for residents at a rate of $170 per week. This offer only applies to students with Summer Housing Assignments, whether the Interim Housing be between the Spring and Summer terms or the Summer and Fall terms. Interim housing is not offered during the Winter Break, between Fall and Spring terms.
To apply for Interim Housing, students must complete the form below AND their Interim housing Request must be accepted. Accepted requests require most students to move rooms once during the interim period, and in rare cases may require them to move twice. Residential Live will make every attempt to avoid any uneccesary room changes. These room changes are required in order for Residential Life to have each building completely cleaned in between terms.
