Welcome to Loyola University New Orleans and Residential Life. We're excited you're joining our community.
Converge is a roommate selection software program that matches profiles of participants and allows them to communicate via e-mail during the search for a roommate. We strongly encourage all incoming freshmen and transfer students to use Converge to select your own roommate. While trying to find a roommate, you will “meet” many students with similar interests and can develop some contacts or friendships before even getting to campus!
The matching process is weighted on certain key questions such as smoking /non-smoking to pair profiles that have similar lifestyle, socialization and academic traits. Your profile pairing will be more successful if you answer the questions honestly. Joining Converge is easy! Just follow the directions on the site.
The sooner you get on and build your profile, the more chances you will have to interact with other new students coming to Loyola University New Orleans!
You and your newly selected roommate must both submit an email request. In this request, you must include your first and last name and the first and last name of the student you are requesting to live with. Submit all roommate requests to reslife@loyno.edu. Ready to get started?
