Fact Book On-Line: Load Report Help
Inquiry Page | Inquiry Help | Load Report | Load Help | Save Help
Two Ways To search
Saved report parameters can be accessed in one of two ways: By Report Number or User Name
Each saved report is assigned a unique Report Number. By entering that number into the Report Number box, the user can quickly retrieve the exact report they want.
If the Report Number is not known, the user can browse through the list of names associated with the saved parameters. All the reports for a particular name can then be examined until the user finds the specific report they want.
Search Results
Whether through Report Number or User Name searches, the Load Report page will present the use with the following information for each report found:
- Report Number - The unique number associated with the saved parameters
- Title - A short description entered by the user who saved the report
- Description - A longer description of the report
- Save Date - The date the report parameters were saved
- Report Header - The heading generated when the report was run.
The Report Header offers the most detailed description of what parameters were used to generate the report. If a user is searching by User Name and unsure of which report is the one they seek, the Report Heading will offer the most valuable assistance.
Run The Report / Adjust The Report
Each search result is displayed with the option of running the report or adjusting the parameters.
"Run The Report" will take the user immediately to the report result page. The saved parameters will be used to access the Fact Book data table.
"Adjust The Report" will take the user to the Report Inquiry page. The selection boxes will all be set to the saved parameters. The user may then run the report "as is" or may make some fine-tuning adjustments.
Re-Saving The Report
All saved report parameters are locked in place. That is, once saved, they cannot be changed or deleted. However, if a report is adjusted, it may be re-saved under a new Report Number. The User Name, Title, and Description fields will all need to be re-entered for the newly saved report.
