Academic Programs

Several courses exist that allow Loyola faculty to educate and train communications majors and other students how to evaluate and cover environmental issues. Emphasis will be on identifying and clearly defining the actual issues, determining how to investigate them and reporting them in a meaningful and relevant way to the public. For the biological sciences courses, the audience is primarily science majors and the emphasis will be on content and developing the ability to interpret environmental meaning from biological systems.
