Ms. Christi Schott, administrative assistant for JSRI, is a Loyola alumna ('07) with a B.A. in sociology with a minor in Latin American Studies. While at Loyola she worked as a student assistant in University Ministry and served on the executive board of LUCAP (Loyola University Community Action Program), chairing Project CARE which focuses on tutoring and mentoring low-income children in literacy and math. After graduation, she spent a year as a Jesuit Volunteer in San Jose, California at Sacred Heart Nativity School, tutoring and supervising students and assisting teachers. In early 2009, she studied Spanish for five months at the Maryknoll Language School in Cochabamba, Bolivia and is currently pursuing a Master of pastoral studies through Loyola’s Institute for Ministry (LIM).
