Professor B. Keith Vetter is the Ted and Louana Frois Distinguished Professor of International Law Studies at Loyola College of Law. He teaches Comparative Law and Latin American Legal Systems at Loyola, has written numerous articles and books and has lectured on comparative law topics at law schools in Japan, Yugoslavia, Slovenia, France, Holland, England ( Oxford), Mexico, Costa Rica, and Brazil. He has taught at the Institut de Droit Compare, Faculte de Droit, Universite-Jean Moulin, Lyon, France, the Vytatus Magus University Law School in Kaunas, Lithuania and the State University of Rio de Janeiro School of Law, and was the first director of Loyola’s Foreign Summer Sessions

Professor Robert Garda joined the Loyola Law School faculty in 2002. Prior to joining the faculty, he graduated from Duke University Law School where he served as Articles Editor on the Duke Law Journal. After externing for Justice Zimmerman of the Utah Supreme Court, Professor Garda became a partner at the Salt Lake City firm of Fabian & Clendenin focusing primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law and education law. Professor Garda's teaching and scholarly interests include contracts and education law, with an emphasis on legal issues relating to educating the disabled. He is the former chair of the Education Law Section of the American Association of Law Schools. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Mental Health Advocacy Services, and is working on projects with the Louisiana Bar Foundation and Louisiana Appleseed studying the effects of education funding formulas on students with disabilities. He also works with local public interest groups on education and disability issues.

Prior to joining the Loyola faculty, Professor Lloyd "Trey" Drury graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a contributing editor of the Michigan Law Review. After law school, he practiced for eight years, both at New Orleans firms and in the legal department of a Fortune 500 company. His areas of specialization include corporate and securities law, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt finance. Drury teaches Business Organizations, Agency & Partnership, Corporate Finance, and Business Planning.

Professor John Rooney is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School and the University of Miami Law School. He has written numerous articles and has practiced extensively in Latin America as counsel to Pan American Life Insurance Company and as vice president/assistant general counsel for John Alden Life Insurance Company. Rooney is now in private practice in Miami centered almost exclusively in Latin America.
