Student Services Policy and Procedures

Residences Rooms are provided with one analog phone line , voice mail and local service. Students must provide their own analog telephone set. Local calls can be made by dialing access code "8" plus the number. Long distance and international calls must be made by using a long distance calling card or a major credit card.

Third number and collect calls cannot be accepted and billed to a residence hall telephone number. In the event that a third number or collect call is accepted, the occupants will be charged for the cost of the call plus a $10 surcharge per call. Residents are cautioned to provide adequate security for their phones in order that no unauthorized long distance calls are placed from their phones. All long distance telephone calls, even those placed by friends, are the responsibility of the registered occupants of the room .
