Alumni Email Policy
Information Technology is pleased to allow Loyola alums to retain their Loyola email account after graduation. Graduates will retain the same email address issued to them as a student with the following restrictions:
- Alumni email accounts will remain active as long as mail is read and the account is active.
- Accounts that have not been used for 180 days will be deleted.
- Loyola will not maintain personal web spaces for alumni accounts. Personal web sites will be deleted within 60 days of graduation.
- Alumni accounts will be limited to 30 mb of mail storage.
- Alumni accounts will not have shell access to the Loyola system.
- Accounts which are being used to create bulk email or spam will be immediately deleted.
- Mail not read within 60 days will be periodically deleted.
