Alumni Email Policy

Information Technology is pleased to allow Loyola alums to retain their Loyola email account after graduation. Graduates will retain the same email address issued to them as a student with the following restrictions:

  1. Alumni email accounts will remain active as long as mail is read and the account is active.
  2. Accounts that have not been used for 180 days will be deleted.
  3. Loyola will not maintain personal web spaces for alumni accounts. Personal web sites will be deleted within 60 days of graduation.
  4. Alumni accounts will be limited to 30 mb of mail storage.
  5. Alumni accounts will not have shell access to the Loyola system.
  6. Accounts which are being used to create bulk email or spam will be immediately deleted.
