Pine Folders in Netscape For Win9x
To Transfer Message Folders from Pine to Netscape
Use FTP (in the Windows subdirectory, double-click FTP.exe)
- open loyno.edu
- user: <enter your username>
- pswd: <enter your password>
- cd /mail
- ls (to see folder names)
- binary
- get <folder name> (the folder is now in the \Windows subdirectory,
- move it to your mail subdirectory,
- ie: C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\<yourname>\Mail
- When you re-open Netscape, it will be there
- close
- quit.
