What kind of computer can I use on campus?

The Loyola network support computers using almost any operating system including:

  • Windows 95
  • Windows 98
  • Windows ME
  • Windows NT
  • Windows 2000
  • Windows XP (Home and Professional)
  • Windows Vista
  • MAC OS
  • MAC OSX
  • Linux

Network connectivity is provided in all residence hall rooms and in many public locations. A computer must have an ‘ethernet’ or ‘network’ card installed to connect to the network. Please note: Cabra Hall and Buddig are the only residential halls that supports wireless connections.
