Mass E-Mail Distribution Policy

In an effort to streamline e-communications to our Loyola communities, a new university policy has been created to address mass e-mails, effective immediately.

The policy is intended to reduce the amount of university-related e-mails we all receive on a daily basis. The policy also ensures that messages to Loyola University’s external audiences, such as alumni, parents, donors, and vendors have a consistent voice and represent the university in an appropriate manner. Third, it helps support a communication vehicle that is already in place and intended for mass distribution of campus-wide e-mails, the LoyMail Daily Campus E-mail Digest.

Because there are several vehicles at your disposal for the distribution of information, within the policy you will find standard definitions for your clarification. The policy also contains guidelines for using LoyMail Daily Campus E-mail Digest, helpful links to publicity and web request forms, as well as contact information to help you reach your intended audience with your message.

I encourage everyone to thoroughly read the policy that can be found online here.
