Summer Student Assistant – Child Care Center
Works with all other teachers in the Center to plan activities and coordinate routines for children. Works closely with toddler teachers to coordinate activities and routines for all children in the classroom.
Hours are flexible: Hours of Operation: Monday- Friday 7:30am-5:30pm
Salary: $7.00/hour

Institutional Advancement - Part-time Courier
The division of Institutional Advancement is seeking a Loyola student to fill our part-time courier position. Position will be available mid-May. Job involves deliveries and pick-ups between Division of Institutional Advancement on the Broadway campus and main campus and occasional off-campus locations.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Loyola student in good academic standing; Licensed and insured driver with own transportation; Able to work two hours each day - one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon. (We will work with student’s class schedule.); Able to lift objects and climb stairs; Reliable, punctual, courteous, and honest.
HOURS: Monday through Friday; Approximately 10 hours per week.
COMPENSATION: Paid hourly salary; A parking permit is provided; $.505 per mile reimbursement.

Intern - Office of Admissions
The Office of Admissions is currently accepting applications for the admission’s intern position.
Candidates must be a current Loyola student in good academic standing.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in admissions or a related public relations field.

The basic function of the position is to assists with the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of programs for the recruitment of students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend college day/night programs and representing Loyola to students, counselors, teachers and administrators.
- Contact Loyola alumni, parents and students to assist with recruitment of prospective students within assigned geographical areas.
- Conduct campus tours as scheduled for visitors to the university.
- Handle correspondence with prospective students and their parents.
- Assist with the planning and conducting of on campus recruitment and public relations activities utilizing Loyola administrators, faculty, students and alumni.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of special programs as assigned.
- Assist in the day-to-day work of the Office of Admissions.

Web Design (Student) Assistant
SUMMARY
The web design assistant will work with the senior web designer, along with the university web team, to help Loyola University New Orleans evolve and enhance its website and electronic-media presence. The web design assistant will help in the creation of page layouts and localized for Loyola’s website. A major component of the position is the production and management of graphic HTML e-mails and e-newsletters sent to Loyola University New Orleans’ constituent groups. He/she must have a strong background in design (print and web) and a basic knowledge of web development methods, including HTML and CSS. A portfolio of work is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Produces, manages, and sends graphic HTML e-newsletters and e-mails
-Keeps templates, photos, and graphics throughout Loyola’s website fresh and consistent
-Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum one year of web design/development experience
-Experience with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and ImageReady is required, experience with Illustrator, preferred
-Basic design skills such as typography, 2D design, photography and image editing, layout and presentation
-Basic knowledge of Internet development standards, including HTML and CSS web standards
-Proficiency in both Macintosh and PC-based environments
-Dependability, attention to detail, solid oral and written communication skills, and critical and creative thinking are essential
SCHEDULE, LOCATION, AND SALARY
16-20 hours per week, with a minimum of three consecutive hours per day preferred, between hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Location: Greenville Hall, Broadway Campus. Salary: $8 per hour.
