RETAIL VENDOR REGISTRATION
1. All retail vendors who wish to sell merchandise on Loyola’s campus must register with the Danna Center.
2. Credit card vendors are not allowed on campus; student groups are prohibited from sponsoring credit card vendors.
3. Vendors may not sell the same brand-name products that compete with existing university or contracted products or services.
4. Proof of authorization to vend allowed brand-name products is required.
5. Proof of insurance is required.
Registration Process
1. Contact Danna Center Administrative Assistant Michele Dupre at 504-865-3622 or mcdupre@loyno.edu to reserve vending space.
2. Complete and return Retail Vendor Agreement two weeks prior to reservation start date.
3. Reservations for the fall semester shall begin on August 1 available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
4. Reservations for the spring semester shall begin on November 1 available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Space
1. The Danna Center provides three general areas for vending: outdoor porch (4 spaces); main floor lobby (2 spaces); mall area booths (3 spaces).
2. Vendors may rent 1 space for a maximum of 5 consecutive business days.
3. Space restrictions shall apply as outlined in the Retail Vendor Agreement.
Rental Fees and Tables
1. Rental rates are $30.00 per day per space inclusive of 1 One-Day Parking Pass for one vehicle.
2. Upon request, Danna Center will provide one table (approx. 8’ x 4’ x 3’) for porch and main floor lobby spaces free of charge.
3. Permanent booths in mall area are approximately 6’ x 2.5’ x 3’ free of charge.
4. Vendor may request a maximum of one extra table per space for an additional $5.00/day. Requests are limited to availability.
Payment and Cancellation
1. Rental fees are due in full on the reservation start date payable by cash or check made to Loyola University New Orleans. Credit cards and Purchase Orders are not accepted.
2. A $15.00 fee will be assessed for NSF checks.
3. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to reservation start date to avoid assessment of full rental fees. Please contact Michele Dupre, Danna Center Administrative Assistant at 504-865-3622 or mcdupre@loyno.edu.
Advertising and Publicity Standards
1. Advertising must be confined to the rental space. Posting is not allowed on doors, windows, elevators, trees, benches, vehicles and/or in parking garages.
2. At the request of the Danna Center and at its sole discretion, vendors must remove any advertisement, publicity, or merchandise that contradicts the mission and values of Loyola University as a Catholic, Jesuit institution including but not limited to explicit or implicit messages about alcohol, substance abuse, sexual behavior or identity, gender stereotypes and/or other messages that demean or degrade the human being.
3. Additional restrictions shall apply as outlined in the Retail Vendor Agreement.
On-Campus Parking
1. Vendors are responsible and required to adhere to all University parking and traffic regulations. A copy of these regulations can be attained in Parking and University ID Office.
2. Additional One-Day parking passes may be obtained for $5.00/day from the Parking and University ID Office.
