Challenge Grant
The center has been founded, in part, through a highly competitive Challenge Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Receipt of an award of $500,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities is contingent upon the university's raising an additional $1.5 million from private donors and foundations.
