Center for International Education

The Center for International Education at Loyola University New Orleans fosters the international character of the university by coordinating a wide range of international and intercultural educational opportunities for members of the Loyola community. For international students, CIE helps them adjust to life at Loyola and in the U.S., providing assistance with all immigration issues as well as any other areas of concern. For students wanting to study abroad, CIE is the first stop with advising and information on programs and financial aid. CIE sponsors numerous programs including Study Abroad 101, International Education Week, the Country Fair, the Education Abroad Fair and many others.

"We went abroad not to learn the secret of others, but to learn the secret of ourselves." José Carlos Mariátegui, Seven Interpretative Essays on Peruvian Reality, (Austin: U.T. Press, 1971) pg. 284
