Be An Ambassador

Membership

Membership is selective. The ideal member is engaging and personable and exhibits dedication to Loyola through involvement in the Loyola community and good academic standing.

Application Process

Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, September 4, 2012 for the Fall 2012-Spring 2013 school year. Once an application is received, a representative of the organization will call the applicant to schedule a formal interview. Interviews for the Fall 2012 semester will be held from July until Friday, September 7, 2012. Interviews are required for selection and are by appointment only. Previous ambassadors interested in returning must be accepted based on their performance the previous academic year.

Post-Application Selection

Ambassadors may nominate peers who have shown interest and potential in the program. The nominations will be reviewed by the Ambassadors president, and selections will be made on a case-by-case basis to fill any openings.

Ambassador Orientation

Newly selected Ambassadors must go through an orientation process, during which they meet other members, learn about the organization, and shadow a campus tour. Ambassador Orientation will be held on Thursday, September 13 from 6:00 - 7:15 p.m.
