Mon Cher

"Mon Cher" is a new cultivar being tested at the Dupont Nursery. And so far, it has won universal praise. The bush is good and well clothed; moreover, the plant blooms at a relatively early age.

The flower is a traditional cup & saucer double with wonderful shades of pink. This was a bit of a surprise given that its parents are "Marilyn's Melody" X "Barry Schlueter". Unlike many other doubles in the hot weather, "Mon Cher" produces lovely double flowers in abundance without bud lost.

Pink lovers need to keep their eyes open for this one.
