Bon Temps

"Bon Temps" (Good Times) is a dramatic cross of "Patrick" X "High Voltage." Apart from the coloration, "High Voltage" is the more dominant parent in both bush and bloom formation.

The flower's large pink center can be very bright, but it is often pale with a light yellow edge. The petals of the 7 to 9 inch flowers display tuffs that are most pronounced immediately upon the bloom's opening.

During the course of the day, the edge of the petals turns a brighter yellow and the outer border widens. Even as the pink center fades, the flower continues to show well as the bright yellow border contrasts beautifully with the light pink center.
